Hey all! Thanks for joining me on this wild ride. I know you have choices for how to spend your time and I’m grateful that you’re here with me sharing my experience. I love reading, writing, art, design, photography, typography….basically all of the visual arts–so please don’t hesitate to comment with your blog, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, Instagram, or other social media outlet.
My name is Katherine Anderson, but I go by Kat. I’m a mom, traveler, outdoor enthusiast (hiking, running, backpacking, fly fishing, paddleboarding, swimming, former climber), former Air Force brat who has lived in over 7 places and moved over 40 times, educator in the middle of a career transition, and shadow artist trying to find the light. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, and a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education. I have a weird love and obsession with really good predictive algorithms. I know that I’m a flawed human being; at times I’m more impulsive than my sensitive self can tolerate. My soul is like the Winchester Mystery House–I’m always trying new things/hacks to improve myself and trying to figure out what works. As a fun loving multi-potentiate with ADHD, I’m all over the place and have tons of hobbies and incomplete projects. I once looked into my human design and it says that I’m a reluctant hero, but I’m still waiting for my hero arc.
I decided to start December Kitten because I love seeing the world through other people’s perspectives, and this is the chance to share mine. No one sees the world like you do or I do. I have another blog from back when I was climbing and living out of my car; I’m not sure if I should merge the two. https://strangeautomata.wordpress.com/
I also like holding myself accountable, so every time I experience something new, this gives me a space to be thoughtful about it. Thanks again for being here with me! Let’s keep in touch.

That’s exactly what I think too! That we all view the world differently and it’s fun seeing it through other people’s lenses. You sound like you have a great perspective to share from, and I look forward to more of your posts. And yes, I definitely think you should merge your two blogs.
